My name is Alice, and I honestly do love a good adventure! I have loved travelling ever since I was little girl, starting with my first trips abroad to Mallorca and France aged 3.
As I got older, travelling came to mean more to me as I took an avid interest in international development. I even did a degree in Anthropology to fuel my academic interest in human culture. Now... I'm hoping to develop the interest I've had since a child into a career in which I can make positive changes to the livelihoods of people around the world.
I decided to start this blog to keep anyone and everyone informed of my placement volunteering for Voluntary Service Overseas in Nepal. This was via the International Citizen Service. Unfortunately, I was in Nepal when the earthquake hit in April 2015 and had to cut my placement short.
After I came back from Nepal, I decided to continue to use this blog as a diary describing all the beautiful places I get to see in the world, no matter how close or far to home.
